Module I – Taking care of young babies
Understanding the basic needs of a young baby, so that you can ensure that all of her needs are being met. Such as Feeding, sleep and human contact, as well as the importance of human contact to the healthy mental and physical development of babies, and how this makes the baby feel loved. Module 2 – Feeding a Baby

Module 3- Baby Safety
This module it is a more in-depth look at some safety issues to consider when you look after a baby and small children to reduce the risk of accidents.

Module 4 – Becoming a Toddler - Nutritional needs
At the end of this module, you will have a better understanding of suitable types of food for children and some ideas of healthy and safe snacks and foods.

Module 5 – Becoming a Toddler - Promoting manipulation
In this module we look at some activities to promote manipulation
Module 6 – Development
This module looks at the development of a child at different ages, this module introduces you to his different periods as a wonderful time in a child's life, where lots of things are happening for the first time in his life.

Module 7 - Learning through play
In this module we look at encouraging and stimulates a child's senses, it is proven that playing helps the child develop and practice co-ordination and other skills. If a child is deprived of play opportunities she may experience learning difficulties later.
We give you lots of ideas of how to encourage the child to be creative.

Module 8 –Growth and development –Activities they enjoy at different ages

Module 9 – Becoming a Toddler
There is no magic age for potty training but most children will not be dry during the day until they are about three years old. The child's nervous system has to develop to the point where he can recognise the signs of a full bladder or bowel.
Module 10 – Keeping your child safe
Between the ages of 15 months and two years, the child is likely to be walking confidently, climbing, and be into everything. He will open your drawers and cupboards, be fascinated by water, and grab and pull things such as leads on kettles, teapots, on tables, and hanging tablecloths. Your child may have no sense of danger- and will be starting to copy many of your actions. At the end of this module, you will have a better understanding of Safety measures, we talk about safety in the sun, Road safety, safety in the car, in the playground and how to prevent many potential sources of accidents
Module 11 –Looking after a sick child
In this module, you will learn the basics about caring for a child who is sick and what to check for.

Module 12 – Matters of discipline
The way that you guide and discipline the toddler will inevitably affect the way that he grows up and behaves as an older child and adult. This approach embraces firm rules, but the discipline is accompanied by explanation, discussion and a degree of independence for your child. He will grow up in a supportive environment in which his needs are respected.
We will introduce you to ideas for discipline and limit setting with all ages of children.
Module 13 – For the Au pair: Making the Relationship Work
This module looks at the development of a good relation with your hosting family, giving you all kind of tips to have a wonderful experience and succeed both with your au pair job and the host Family's Children . So you can make the experience more fun and more enjoyable.
